ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry -
ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos;
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest -
ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

It may seem like your worries
Are more than you can bear.
Slow down and take a breather -
ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

God knows how stressful life is;
He wants to ease our cares
And He'll respond to all our needs -
ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come unto Me and rest;
Lay down, thou weary one, lay down thy head upon My breast.”
I came to Jesus as I was, weary and worn and sad;
I found in Him a resting place, and He has made me glad.

I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Behold, I freely give
The living water; thirsty one, stoop down, and drink, and live.”
I came to Jesus, and I drank of that life giving stream;
My thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in Him.

I heard the voice of Jesus say, “I am this dark world’s Light;
Look unto Me, thy morn shall rise, and all thy day be bright.”
I looked to Jesus, and I found in Him my Star, my Sun;
And in that light of life I’ll walk, till traveling days are done.

[ An all time favourite hymn...Still remember how I used to long for no.469 of Common Praise to appear in the Pew Bulletin every Sunday Morning service during my secondary school years (still doing it now)...Sadly, it is not in Presbyterian Hymnal..so many are not in it actually...even 'It Is Well' that Cikgu Horatio quoted recently in FB also not in it..Another one of my favourite,
'Lord of all Power' also not inside...wonder why only few are chosen in Presbyterian Hymnal...?? Maybe because the one that's used in most Presbyterian churches is bilingual. Thus it will be a VERY thick book if all are included...??? Maybe the mono language got..?]
