Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A breaking news---Sis Nian Yien had called to confirm about the place in Savannah Hill. The answer that she got from them was the place is booked for the government on the week we are having our Wel Camp. Nevertheless, i hope that brothers and sisters will not be dissapointed with this news but instead be joyful for the plan that The Lord have for us is not to bring us down but to prosper us. So let us be glad in it and work our best to bring out the best in glorifying Him.

Kuching IVCCers had their second practice for the hand mimes perforamnce just now. Attendance was almost full. Only one person was absent---Tertidur...maybe too tired..=D The practice went quite smooth. Thank you very much for the prayers you all have for us here in Kuching. We still need more practices as we are still depending on the laptop for now. I can say that we are not really familiar with the song yet. hehe~~ The next practice will be on Friday evening the 5th. Please continue to pray for us ya.

The booklet team is now in the process of preparing and designing the camp booklet. I urge brothers and sisters who are involved please cooperate with the team so we can finish it as soon as possible. Moreover, any ideas that you all have for both Talent Time and Dancing Night can be contributed to Bro. Xiang Yi and Bro. Lawrence respectively. Thank you^^

New update for now...

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

A lil' bit of info that i would like to share with you all for now.

First of all,the practice for hand mimes by kuching IVCCers has started last tuesday. It has gone well i can say although the attendance was not full. Cause we manage to do the whole song!! What a surprise to us. Never thought that we can be so fast. Thanks to God who is guiding us through Sis Nian Yien. Our next practice would be on next Friday the 29th. Pray that it would run smoothly again.

Next i would like to share about the speakers. For the main theme, as you all knew already is Rev. Tan Lee Chai. He had agreed to speak for both Wel Night and continue again in Wel Camp.
The problem is i'd lost contact with him now. he is now serving in a church in Singapore. So it's quite difficult for me to contact him through phone again. Thus, before the holiday, i've asked for his email add. Then i tried to email him the other day but the msg could not been send. Apparently, i got the wrong email through the phone conversation...ai...:'( Now, trying to ask kian mau and xiao xu to get me the correct one.
Then today noon, Bro. Shern Wang who is supposedly going to give the talk for the sub topic had called me. He said he couldn't do it for he has another obligation to do. He need to go Hong Kong on that week. Thus, he told me that he will try to find another speaker for us. He have a candidate now which is Ps. Daniel from Hebron Presbyterian Church in Tun Aminah. He is a bilingual speaker like himself. He will contact him and inform me again soon. Really hope we can get Ps. Daniel cause it will be better if the sub topic is given in english so we don't need to find a translator. For we surely need one in the main topic cause Rev. Tan is going to give a Chinese sermon. Please pray for these matters and let us uphold them to His amazing plan. Thank you.

7 Ways to Love Your Neighbor in Malaysia

Retrieved May 17, 2009 from http://sivinkit.net/2009/05/15/7-ways-to-love-your-neighbor-in-malaysia/

1. Remember to use the signal light to indicate whether you are turning left or right while driving.

2. Don’t simply throw rubbish (includes spitting). Watch WALL.E if you don’t understand.

3. Register to vote, and vote wisely. Don’t wait till one month before the next election. Performance now! Imagine what a sudden surge of registrations would do to those who are in power or desire power . a reminder it’s an entrusted power to serve?

4. Purge all traces of racism and discrimination of any kind (e.g. disabilities, migrant, religion, social standing, etc) . Start hanging out with people who are different from you. Be their friend, that’s even better.

5. Smile at the people who are in the same lift with you. (They may think you are crazy, prove them right by singing in the lift. Try You are my sunshine!)

6. Join a good cause you believe in. There’s plenty out there.

7. Add your own 7 ways to Love Your Neighbor. Tell people about it, do a blog post, take pictures, spread the word, and be creative. But more importantly Just do it!
